Terms
and conditions
We are pleased to offer a local delivery service which we hope you find both efficient and convenient. Whilst we always try to cooperate with customers requests, unfortunately it is not possible to guarantee to deliver on specific days or at specific times. We respectfully draw your attention to the following terms and conditions.
Charges
Standard deliveries over £100 in value will be delivered free of charge anywhere in our published postcode delivery area. Standard deliveries under £100 within the postcode delivery area will be charged a flat rate of £6.
"Special Deliveries" are arranged for Wednesdays and are charged in line with our published list.
All bagged compost aggregates and rockery stones when delivered will be charged at the single/one bag rate only. 'Collected bulk buys' apply only when goods are collected from the Nursery.
Delivery Area
Our designated postcode delivery areas and the specific delivery days are clearly outlined on all delivery area boards around the nursery.
"Special Deliveries," outside our published postcode delivery area can often be arranged and will be charged at cost. This may include an outside carrier at a specified delivery charge payable by customer.
Times and Days
Unfortunately it is not possible to guarantee a specific time for a delivery to arrive and customers are advised that the management an staff of Woodcote Green Nurseries Limited are not responsible for any losses or labour costs incurred by the customer or his agent waiting for goods to arrive.
No delivery request for next day delivery will be accepted after 2.00pm.
Kerbside Delivery
Woodcote Green Nurseries Limited offers a Kerbside delivery service only. Our drivers are required to place the goods to be delivered just inside the customer's property. Wherever possible this will be out o sight from the road and will leave access for the customer and their vehicles.
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that there is suitable safe access for the items to be delivered. This area should be no more than 10 metres from the public road. Our drivers are not expected to carry heavy items into back gardens or through houses.
If a suitable and safe area is not provided and our driver is unable to deliver the goods they will return the load to the Nursery and the customer will be charged for any subsequent delivery at cost.
Other Requirements
Where an item is heavy or difficult to lift a two-man delivery will be required. These types of deliveries will normally occur on Saturdays.
Due to the perishable nature of this product, turf is delivered direct from the producer and can only be delivered in quantities of 40m 2 or more, unfortunately it is not possible to deliver turf with any other product.
Indemnity
If you require our driver to leave the public road to access your property he will do so only at your risk. You will be asked to sign an indemnity and therefore take full responsibility for any damage that may occur to either property or to our vehicle.
The Management retain the right to refuse delivery on any item at any time without prior notice. |
